The Orbost Annual Poker Run

The Award winning Orbost Poker Run was founded in 2010, by a small but dedicated committee of volunteers and motorcycle enthusiasts.

In 2010, Kim and Dave Hibberson approached Mick Colling, previous owner of the Orbost Club Hotel, wanting to give something back to Ronald McDonald House (Monash) for their care and support.

Their daughter Mackenzie Grace had spent a lot of time at the Monash Hospital while Kim and Dave stayed at RMHM throughout Gracie's visits.

This facility is invaluable for families in rural Victoria to help relieve the financial, mental and emotional burden and gives families a 'home away from home'.

In our first year we raised $5205.00 for RMHM. since our humble beginnings we have raised over  a massive $300,000 and have become  among RMHM's largest donors.

We have been recognised for our efforts in 2015, being awarded The East Gippsland Shire Community Event of the Year.

This Annual Fundraisers continued success is made possible by our incredibly supportive community, generous donors and sponsors and all who participate on the day.

Held on the first Saturday in March each year, the Orbost Poker Run is a fantastic day of riding scenic roads, a BBQ Lunch and a night of live music, raffles and an auction all in the name of charity.

Come join us, on your Bike or in your Car in March, and  help support this great charity.
